Episode 27: Game, Set, Mat

The winter sports season is upon us, and that means it's time for another installment of Cougar Country: Hometown Sports. Today, we kick things off with Highlights & Lowlights followed by a recap of the basketball season openers last Friday. We welcome star wrestlers Landon Sprague and Ethan Ensrud for a fantastic preview of the upcoming season, before wrapping up (pun intended) with another segment of Cougar Country Approved. 

Episode 26: Hitting the Hardwood

The guys are back to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Cougar Country: Hometown Sports, and kick off an exciting season of Canby winter athletics! We kick off with our segment Highlights & Lowlights, followed by our winter sports preview of all winter sports as they are right around the corner from starting. Then we welcome new Canby boys' basketball coach Matt Taylor and wrap things up with Cougar Country Approved: Appetizer Edition.

The Canby volleyball team has been enjoying its best season since 2019 and has been on a tear lately, winning six of its last seven matches. Today, we kick things off with Highlights & Lowlights and a recap of Homecoming Week before welcoming star volleyball player Chloe Annas to discuss the team's recent triumphs.

Episode 22: Looking Up

The Canby soccer team has had a rough start to the 2022 season, losing their first five games and failing to score a single goal. Yet, the team's spirits are high as they start league play this week, with plenty of time to right the ship. As always, we start off today's episode with Highlights & Lowlights and recaps before welcoming canby boys soccer coach Ryan McCormack.

The Canby Cougar football team is on a roll to kick off the 2022 season, winning their first three games — all against opposing teams who are still at 6A or were at that classification last season. As always, we start with Highlights & Lowlights and recaps before welcoming the Cougs' Braden Snoderly and Tyler Konold — early favorites for league Defensive and Offensive Players of the Year, respectively.
